Records could not be added to exceptions table

I am importing a .txt file into a table in my Access Database. I have done
this many times before, but this time I am getting a message when the import
is almost complete that says 'records could not be added to exceptions
table'. The import is then cancelled and I am back at the import table
wizard. No data has been added to my table. The only thing that has changed
since I last successfully imported a file into the database is that my PC has
been upgraded to Windows XP. What is causing the import to fail, and how can
I correct it?
