Recording Software

I am looking for a CD/DVD recording software that is compatible with Vista.
Media Player does a fine job making music cd's, but I need something that can
do a direct cd to cdr recoring. I have not seen anything in vista able to do
this. Can someone lead me in the right direction. thank You.
 
Infra Recorder installed in Vista without any problems for me and I have
burned a CD-R disc without any problems.

However, Infra Recorder, at least on my system, frequently will not run
and Vista shows 'Infra Recorder has stopped working'.

Infra Recorder may or may not work. That is why I wrote "Try".

I know Nero 7.7.5.x works in Vista as its currently installed.

I run Infra Recorder in Vista under my default Administrator account.
To make Infra Recorder to run each time, which I just figured out, is
that I had to right-click on the Infra Recorder shortcut and select 'Run
as administrator' to allow Infra Recorder to run without error.

Have *you* tried using this with Vista, Mark? Just curious.

I just finished a project where I burned 92 full (4.7gb) DVDs of my
rather extensive music collecton without a hitch using Easy Creator 9.

I assume you mean copying one CD or DVD to a blank one to make a
mirror image. Easy Creator does this easily with just one CD/DVD drive
buring a "copy" to your hard drive, then to the new blank in a simple
2 step process then cleans up after itself. Works fine in Vista. It
also comes with 34 other applications that does a whole bunch of
things. Check the Roxio web site.

Another pretty good is Cyberlink's line. I have several of those
application and they too work ok with Vista.

wm11 burns copies cd roms to cd.
