I don't know what you need but this site has lots of software for musicians.
Here's a few but there are more including protools if you use windows 98 or
lower:
FatRock Studio A multitrack, digital audio recorder (harddisk
recording-studio) for Windows95/98/NT4 and later. It has 16 stereo/mono
channels and is designed to work just like a real world recorder. It
implements a plugin-architecture for realtime audio processing effects. The
best comparision is probably with an A-DAT recorder.
L'S.A.M.P. Leon's Simple Audio Mastering Program Ever recorded a song and
then wondered why it sounds so quiet when compared to commercial CDs? #
Wanted to bring your sound up to standards of commercial work but fainted at
the costs? L'SAMP is the audio cd mastering software which provides
musicians with ability to make their work sound equivalent to a commercially
released product. The program consists from a number of stereo processing
devices which are combined in a simple yet very effective suite of tools.
Namely, those devices are: input gain module, high pass filter, 3 parametric
equalizers, 2 compressors (one average level detection, one peak level
detection), 3 peak distortion limiters. The program allows you to use all of
the mentioned devices in real-time (i.e. you can hear the changes on the
playing sound as you move wheels and other controls of the program). The
program also allows you to render the results directly to a wave file on
your computer. This makes the whole process of CD mastering rather very easy
as the rendered file is ready to go onto a CD. As well as the ease of CD
production, rendering allows you to abandon the absolute need for digital
i/0 cards in order to transfer mastered sound onto a recording medium, this
further stretches the ability to master your project while being limited by
a fixed budget.
