recording from midi files

I cannot record from my Midi program into my audio program or eben from
Windows Media Player into Sound recorder.
Upon checking in Volume control record properties it does not show wave out
mix or similar.
Any help appreciated

Go into volume control (double click on the loudspeaker icon bottom right of
your screen)

Options Properties > tick what you want to be shown. You can then do the
same for Recording.

Thanks for reply Jerry but that's too easy. The problem is that when I go
into properties for record "wave out" is just not there .
