recording from certain sites

I usually get to certain websites and they have mixes
online( music) and when I try to record from the site and
insert a blank cd- my windows media indicates cannot
record on the status ? I was able before did they add a
security firewall that now makes it not possilbe to
record from the site ??
 
When at site,and misic is playing in wmp,go to edit,
then select,save current playing track or url.
