recording CDs

When I record WMP 10 the cd will not play on a cd player only a dvd player.
am I doing something wrong please let me know. Every CD that I burn will
not player on CD player. But it will play on DVD player. Please help.

You are probably burning DATA/MP3/WMA CDs rather than AUDIO CDs. Change
your burning options. Read the Help file topics on burning CDs.

Many "older" CD players will not play CD-R disks. Even though they are
the same format as store bought CDs they are burned rather than stamped.

The other possibility is as the other responder noted is that there are
Music (CDA) and Data (MP3,WMA,etc) CDs. Not all players will play Data CDs.
