I don't know much about AC3 sound. I am trying to learn about it.
However, the ATI-7500 does not handle the recording of sound. That is
done by your sound card. All the 7500 does is pass the audio thru to the
sound card.
I would think that if your sound card has a S/PDIF input, there should be
a way of "recording" it digitally with zero loss of audio quality thru
multiple generations. There may however be a problem with maintaining
sync between the audio and the video in a "movie" file.
Hello.
Is it possible the have AC3 digital sound recorded from Satellite AC3
broadcast with the Radeon connected to LINE in of Audigy Sound card?
Or am I stuck with Analog Stereo sound only?
