Having a drama with Recorder.exe (the old macro recorder)
working under Windows XP.

i've read a bit about ntvdm.exe handling old 16bit
applications like recorder.exe and nothing really
explains why everytime i use it it uses a huge amount of
memory the more it gets used. What i primarily use it for
is to split fields into other fields in Access. this can
be up to 5000 repetitions and it used to work fine under
Windows 98 but now after about 700 repetitions the memory
fills (512 MB of DDR RAM) and the system chugs.

any ideas??
