Record number on a form

I want to be able to include a field on a form that shows the record number
(not the ID field). Can this be done?

The property AbsolutePosition of the DAO recordset (the clone of the
form):

With Me.RecordsetClone
.Bookmark = Me.Bookmark ' the line starts with a point
Me.ControlName.Value = .AbsolutePosition
End With
