When playing a DVD using Media Player is it possible to record some of the
sound?
I would like to record some .wav files to use for windows shutdown etc.

Start>Programs>Accessories>Entertainment>Sound Recorder.
The Sound Recorder will record any sound coming through
your speakers. Once you have recored the music then SAVE
As. It will create a *.wav file. This file can be
played using the Sound Record at any time.

The sound recorder only record 60 seconds when you push
record. Once it has record 60 seconds you puch record
again, and it will record 60 seconds more, you do this
until you have a file with enough seconds to hold your
music. SAVE AS Model.wav

Then use the Model.wav a a start for other music. When
you Load Model.wav, it will simply be a blank file. Start
you DVD. Hit record on the Sound Record when the music
starts. then SAVE AS Myxxxx.Wav. You can then play your
music with the Sound Record at any time.
