Record direct to .ogg?

I run windoze 2k pro and am looking for a prog to record from some old
casette tapes directly to .ogg. At present, I have to record the tape to
..wav and then
convert to .ogg, which is slow.

What possibilities for recording directly to .ogg?

http://cdexos.sourceforge.net/ is a bit complicated, but it can do what you
ask.
