Record direct to mp3 (with editor) ?

Is there any software which will do all (or most of) below:

1) Record direct to mp3
2) Be able to edit 'cut' marks to cut a long mp3, within the same program.
3) Scheduled recording
4) Nice looking GUI.

For WinXP.

I know 2 progs that in combination will do all this but one isn't
appropriate for this group so e-mail me if you want to discuss them
