Record Cassette to MP3/WAV with tracks?

Is there a FREEWARE piece of software that allows me to save my
cassettes into .wav or mp3 format so that I can burn them onto CD?
Also, does the software HOPEFULLY save the file into different tracks?
For example, I'm worried that it will record all of the songs as one
huge .wav file instead of various .wav files (for each song).

Any help would be ENORMOUSLY appreciated. Thanks in advance!
