recommended storage solution

Am managing a small winNT network that consists of one exchange server, one
winNT file/print server, one win2k ftp server, and about 25 clients. Our
problem is that we're rapidly running out of storage space on our file/print
server. What kind of storage solution would be best to introduce to this
strained network? Basically, our company needs extra storage in order to
archive dated information, as well as to store current info. Would the below
product be the best fit in this network environment? How could itbe backed
up? Thanks in advance for any help.

I agree with Robert. That Lacie thing has no raid, no redundancy. If the
drive fails, you're dead. ...and 250 GB is not really very much space.
Definitely get a raid solution instead. As for backup, you may be able to
use your existing backup, just buy more tapes, or if you have available
slots in your server, you could add a scsi card and a tape drive or tape
library.
Since you don't mention anything about the hardware you already have, I
can't say if it would make sense to simply add on storage to your server or
to buy a new server. It would depend on a lot of things, is it out of
warranty, does it already have all hard drive slots filled, does it have pci
slots available for scsi cards or hba's? Since it is WinNT, you should also
start thinking about upgrading to Win2003 domain soon - which may require
newer servers anyway.
