I'm looking for a card that can handle 3D decently (flight sims and
most recent kids games like Harry Potter are the most intensive it
will be used for), but also would like to do video editing. Is there
one that can do both well? If not, is an alternative to put one in the
AGP slot and another in the PCI slot? TIA!

ATI All-in-Wonder 9800pro. You'll even get TV too.

Wasn't really interested in TV, though. I figured the AIW might be
more than I need. I don't need the cheapest, just best bang for the
buck, while still doing what I need it to. Thanks for the feedback.

If do you go the AIW route, the best bang for buck version, IMHO, is the AIW
9600 Pro. It does everything you need, but also includes dual monitor
support, FM tuner, video editing software, and vouchers for Half Life 2 and
an RF remote upgrade - all for about half the price of an AIW 9800 Pro. The
biggest difference is its 3D performance, but it's still quite powerful and
fully DX9 compliant . I have one myself and I'm very satisfied with it.
Runs the most current games without a problem, and I've got a 900MHz P3..
