Recommendation on Scheduled Tasks

I would like to control Scheduled Tasks. Applications can
add or enable a scheduled task that I do not want to run.
Microsoft AntiSpyware would be a good control point for
this type of thing. What do you think? Is there a better
way to do this?
 
I think it would be a great addition:
For now, we will have to manage on our own with the schedule within MS
AntiSpyware, which is pretty complete in itself.
