Having said that the gloss paper occassionally sold by Aldi or Lidl takes
some beating, and any of the own brand paper sold by Partner (now branded
Ryman) will satisfy most needs.

I am in the USA, but I really like Ilford paper, which I believe is made
in the UK. I get mine online from Wal Mart. Smooth Pearl (personal
favorite) 8-1/2 x 11 (don't know the UK equivalent, A4??) 100 sheets for
