Would appreciate any suggestions for a Socket 939 board for use with
Linux, specifically Xandros and possibly Linspire.

I'm thinking of using an AMD Athlon 64 3000+ (Venice).

Thanks.

Find out the kernel version of the distro you would like to use then check
the hardware compatibility list. My guess, because the board is so new,
Linux doesn't have the drivers for it. Also, check the Asus website and see
what they have, if anything.

good luck,

There are Linux drivers on the Asus website. Who would have guessed?
