hi,
its my birthday on the 26,,
i can have a dvd burner as
presant,off my lady friend,
so ive just been surfin around
and hit PRICE GRABBER.COM..
they have a PLEXTOR PX-740 SW DUAL LAYER DVD-+RW.
for $78.99..it has good user reviews,,but i would
like a review from a reliable sourse,you guys
do you have any recomentions,,

I've been happy with the AOpen line of products lately. The quality is as
good, the price is generally better, the return policy is nice for something
you need to RMA, and generally it's been decent working with their
equipment.

I'm reluctant to point to a specific vendor so take your pick by the rating
system there and you should be all set.

You're posting from the web interface. That doesn't work very well as
you have seen. This is actually a newsgroup, not a forum. You would be
better served by using a newsreader program. XP comes with one, Outlook

The Plextor PX-740 is a current model DVD-RW, and is a
relatively good unit. We have installed a number of them
and none have given any problems. It can record both single-
and double-layer DVD-R's.
