Is there any way to recolor an embeded Excel graph colors
to match the color scheme of targeted PowerPoint file?

thanks.

You could create a user-defined custom chart type with the colour schem
of the presentation and apply it to the embedded chart.

I am not aware of any in-built color synchronization between powerpoin
and excel, though.

when you say "A user-defined custom chart type"

Is this "Chart>Chart type>Custom types>User-defined" ?

If yes.
1. Create the same type of graph with MS Graph.
2. Add as user-defined.
3. [and what should I do? How could I apply it to an
embeded graph?]

If no. Will you explain a bit more? Appreciate if you
could tell me step by step.

Thanks for your help

wlotto,

Here are the steps.

First make sure your embedded chart is an Excel chart and not an M
Graph Chart sinceCustom chart types added in one are not visible in th
other.

I am assuming yours is an excel chart. If not, then do the followin
with MS Graph instead.

1. Open Excel and create a chart.
2. Format this chart as you wish (to reflect the ppt color scheme)
3. Right click->Chart type->Custom types->User Defined->Add...
4. Enter a name and description for your chart->Click OK.
5. Open the presentation and edit the chart object.
6. Right click->Chart type->Custom types->User Defined-><<you
charttype name>>
