recognizing spyware

Hi Ginie,

Good question. Weatherbug, at this time, probably isn't real true blue
'spyware.' It hinges on your personal definition, and the fact that you
need to approve a EULA when you download the program. One should read the
fine print, as it may give permission for a program, or it's hangers on to
do whatever they want with your machine.
One program that I've heard some about recently, and it claims not to carry
adware is WeatherPulse by TropicDesigns.net
