I just installed 8Gs of memory on a DL580 G2 Compaq server
running Windows 2000 Advanced server. The new dimms
(hardware) is recognized by the server but the OS is not
picking up the newly added memory (still only seeing 4Gs).
Is there a Reg edit that needs to be done for the OS to
see all the 8Gs of memory?

Did you use the PAE switch?
