Does anyone know of program to automatically check to
see if reciprocal links are working on other web sites??
If you mean links from your site to others, choose
Reports from the View menu, then Problems, then Broken
Hyperlinks. Finally, click the Verifies Hyperlinks In The
Current Web toolbar button.
If you mean links from other sites to yours, no, I don't
think there's any definitive way to check them. It's a
problem, you see, to know where they all area.
If your host runs a statistics packages such as Web
Trends for you, there's probably a report of requests on
your site that originated from other sites. If so, you
could check this report for suspicious omissions.
