recieving calls while online

How are what do I do to put my modem on hold while online to recieve incoming
calls? I have phone dialer but it doesn't have anything showing me how to do
it. MIKE

If your modem and telephone service support this, the function would be in
software that accompanied the modem (it's not a part of Windows).
