If you did not receive the Windows XP COA or installation CD,
you did not have a proper and legal transfer of the Windows XP
license. You can still use the existing system, but there is no
assurance that you don't have an illegal version of XP currently installed.
Change the Computer's Registered Owner in Windows XP

Microsoft Registration: Start > Run and type: REGWIZ /R ,
and hit enter.
