Which Anti Virus or security suite are you using to scan your incoming and outgoing emails

what do you do when you can't go to webemail?

Margaret, to be able to guide you we need more detail please.

Tell us who is your ISP, in other words, who do you pay for internet access,
also tell us the bit after the @ in your email address.

Also please explain your problem, why do you think you need to go to
'webemail' ?

Both my and my wifes computors are experiencing this same problem. We are
tied in on the same cable box which is with Road Runner. I can log in to the
site you listed and get the corrupted message removed, but I can't log with
my wifes computer to get her corrupted message deleted. Any suggestions?
Thank you, Tommy.

You and your wife use the same mail provider? If so, the fact that
your wife's computer can't log-in to her webmail account would indicate
that she's using the wrong password, or there is something wrong with
her mailbox on the server. Windows Mail can't work if webmail access
doesn't work. You will have to call RoadRunner for assistance.

My question is, if I can log into the RR website that you have posted to
delete the corrupt email message or messages, why is it that I can't log in
with my wife's computer in to the same site so I can delete her corrupt
message(s)? For us the corrupt message is # 29. It always stalls on that
message and that message won't complete loading. My computer is the main
computer where the cable box is hooked up to, and I have a wireless router
hooked up there, that my wife's computer uses with a wireless card to connect
to the internet. Hope this helps. I did not understand your initial
response instruction?. I'm not that good with computers, so please clarify
your response, in your next instructions. I'm communicating with you from my
wife's computer. If you would like to send me a message at my email address,
it is: (e-mail address removed). Thank you, Tommy.

Newsgroup responders don't respond personally to email addresses, and you
should not put a real email address in a newsgroup post as it acts as an
invitation to spammers . . . . . .

You need to login directly to webmail at the site (via Internet Explorer -
or whatever internet access you use): http://webmail.austin.rr.com
Then you need to delete message #29, or better, the last 29 messages plus
one more (this ensures you have cleared the offending email).
If you are concerned that you may delete something you want, open them while
you're on the webmail to read them.
Once you've deleted that batch of mail, you should have cleared up whichever
was blocking your regular desktop email access.

I thought I addressed that question already.
I'm assuming your wife has a different username and password
than you have, which means you each have a unique mailbox
on the server. Just because one webmail mailbox works, that
is no guarantee that another webmail mailbox will work. If her mailbox
doesn't work, then she either is trying with the wrong username
and/or password, or else there is something defective about her
mailbox on the server. In either case the only one who can help with
that problem is Roadrunner tech support.

In this forum we do not provide assistance via private email.
