Receiving mail intended for two recipients

My dear sister sends both my wife and I the same email (along with others)
but it is only being placed in my Inbox rather than one being placed in mine
and one being placed in my wife's Inbox.

Is there a way to have the email be sent to both of our Inboxs rather than
having both sent to mine?

Is she sending it to both of your addresses? If not she needs to address it
to both of you and then you both will get it. It sounds as if she is only
addressing the message to your mail account.

She is sending it to two email addresses. Mine and my wife's. But both are
being put into my Inbox. I have set up Message rules will send emails
addresses to me to my Inbox and those addressed with my wife's email address
to her Inbox. Problem is that when my sister sends us both the same email
that has multiple recipients (including mine and my wife's) then both are put
into my Inbox.

I can't think of a way around that. If its to both of you and you have a
rule that says if it contains you to move it to your folder, then I don't
see what you can do to keep from getting both of them into your box. If you
see two of them, its easy enough to highlight one and move it to her inbox.
