Peter

I have an Outlook 2003 program on a new computer that
refuses to receive or display HTML text. It will receive
plain text. How can I configure this amazing piece of
software to display sent HTML text?

I am having the same problem, almost. I write the mail in
html. When I send it it is recieved as a plain text with
an attachement. Any ideas?

I assume you both have tried checking your email settings (Menu:
Tools/Options) where one of the settings is to "read all standard mail
in plain text". What happens when you uncheck this optoin?

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

Another possibility...because I was having the same problem...

Each name in your contact list may be set to receive in plain text
regardless of what is set in the Tools/Options section of Outlook.
To change this setting:

Open any of your contacts. Right click on the e-mail address that has
been entered for a contact and select properties. Make your choice for
each contact...you may have to do this for each contact...

Hope this helps...
