I am trying to set up Outlook 2002 to check my hotmail
email account. I have everything working except when I
check my email through Outlook, no new messages show up,
yet when I go to the hotmail site they do. What setting
do I need to change so that when I get a new message it
shows up in Outlook. Thanks for the help.

if you go directly to the mailbox - from either the outlook bar or folder
view, do you see the messages?

Yes, I set it up as http, and I do not get any errors. I
hit the send/receive and it shows that there are no new
emails. I know there are though. Whats really weird is I
go into "options" "mail setup" "send/receive" and then
click on edit, and it lists the different email boxes (in,
sent, etc) and there it shows there is a new message. Why
doesn't this message show up on my today page when I click
send/receive? Thanks.
