Can I receive faxes using the same telephone connection
that I use for my telephone, and internet services? If
so, do I use my normal telephone number to receive faxes,
and what state do I leave my computer in. On, standby,
hiebernate?

Yes you use the phone line. But don't connect to the internet to recieve
faxes, if you didn't know. If your using the same line as your phone, you
will need that number to recieve. What ever that phone line number is, is
the one to use. I don't know about what state to leave you computer in.
I'm guessing not to leave it in hibernate???

It's best to leave your computer in the same state you are
in. Arizona is good.

Personally I prefer Nevada, unless it's my notebook and we're both together
in another state.

Seriously, if you want the fax to answer when in standby or hibernation
mode, the BIOS should be changed to Wake on Modem, if available.

be able to tell between a call or fax, it will answer all.......if you set
it up for auto recieve.....
