Hi

I am receiving some emails as soon as they are sent, but
emails from certain addresses (2 in particular) are
coming through extremely late. In fact, I didn't receive
one of the emails until 3 days after it had been sent!

Please help if you can :)

Thanks in advance
Brian.

Brian,

Mail from different users, and different domains (aol.com, msn.com,
microsoft.com, etc) can all take different paths to your mailbox, before
you ever see it. If mail from one particular domain is ALWAYS delayed,
then perhaps there is a longer route between you and that server. Also,
you might check with your ISP to see if they are doing any filtering of
senders based on any "black lists." Certain ISP use a "black list of known
spam domain, and then refuse, or do extra scanning of that e-mail.

Basically since you do receive the e-mail, and receive other e-mails with
no problem, I am hard pressed to think of anything wrong with Outlook. If
you are using an HTTP account like Hotmail, try logging in through the Web,
and see if the mail shows up. You could also setup your account in Outlook
Express and see if the same behavior is observed.
