Receiving Attachments

I am unable to receive urls when they're sent as
attachments.. the help menu tells me Outlook deletes them
due to security level 1 issues, but I need to get them,
this is in my home so I do have admin priveleges... how
can I change this? THanks...
 
Thanks, but I still have to save the attachment (in this
case a URL, first, which is a pain considering I get so
many of them, this is a home network, and I run an
antivirus program in the background)... Any way I can
just click on the link and go to it? Thanks..

I guess these URL's are actually shortcuts to URL's. Yes, they could be
a security problem if from a nefarious source. Is it possible for you
to ask the sender to instead copy/paste the URL's into the text of the
email? That would be simpler and avoid you having to solve the unsafe
attachment problem.
 
I can do that, but it never happened in OE, and often I
have to repsond to the sender, which is a pain for them...
I guess if I can't change this, I'll have to live with
it. Thanks..
