Matt

I am currently running 3 email accounts under Outlook
2000. Up until now, I have had no problems. However, in
the last few days, one of the accounts is refusing to send
emails although it is receiving fine. I get the following
error message:

The message could not be sent because it rejected you as
the sender. Server Response: '452 Space Shortage, please
try later'. (Account: 'accountname', SMTP
Server: 'nn.nn.nnn.nnn', Error Number: 0x800ccc78).

I have checked all settings and they appear to be fine.

Has anyone come across this before?

Best regards,
Matt

Someone else in one of the Outlook groups hit this recently. The error is
occurring on your ISP's SMTP server - it doesn't have enough disk space at
the moment to accept your message. Contact your ISP and let them know of
the problem. The person that had this problem earlier was told by his/her
ISP that there were no problems on their servers, but that was just some
front-line support person that didn't know what they were talking about.
This is *definitely* a server problem, and someone at your ISP should look
into it.
