Rec'd Validation Code but states Error

Hi, in the system validation process, I received a
validation code, but when I entered the code and continued
the system said error and would not install. Should I go
ahead and install without the validation. I have an XP
SP2 OEM from emachines

Can you provide more details?
What "system validation process" are you referring to?
Where did you "receive a validation code" from?

It's about Windows Genuine Advantage validation process, I suppose.

bretsharon - yes, if you're able to process further without the validation,
you can download MSAS without it.

The Windows Genuine Advantage validation process does not run correctly
unless you are logged-in under an account with Administrator rights. It
does not say this very clearly.
