When I close down my computer which is running XP Home, I often get a window
popping up saying CiceroUIWndFrame not responding - End now or Cancel.

In addition I often get a "save as" window pooping up from Word asking me
whether I would like to save changes to normal template

Can anyone explain this?

The CiceroUIWndFrame error is caused by the "Speech and Handwriting
Recognition" feature of MS Office. You can turn this feature off by
going to the Add/Remove Programs applet in Control Panel. Click on the
entry for MS Office and then on "Change". Browse to "Office Shared
Features," "Alternative User Input," and make Speech and Handwriting
Recognition (both) "Not available" from the drop-down box.

For other questions about Word, you would be best served by asking in a
Word-specific newsgroup where the Word experts hang out. Here is a list
