recalc method, calculated control based on another calc control

Access2000 on Win2000

I have a form which uses many calculated text boxes. I have some text boxes
which I would like to display the sum of other calculated text boxeds. I set
the control source property of the calculated calculated controls to sum up
the others. Instead, these text boxes appear empty. I have confirmed text
box format property is correct, and I coded in a Me.Recalc for the form
which does not solve the problem either. I added a Me.Refresh to no avail.
Any ideas?

After some tinkering was able to realize creating a calculated control based
on another calculated control is not a problem - the "cascaded" control
populates no problem, however I had to implement a Nz([Control]) to account
for nulls, then it worked fine.
