Rebuild the first and only one DC in interim Windows 2003 domain

Hi, We just migrated the NT 4 PDC to Windows 2003 DC domain last week,
today I realized that there are Compaq Array Utilities is not running
probably, I think it is because this utilities is not compatible with
Windows 2003. I am wondering if I have to rebuild to box in order to
have a clean Windows 2003 domain.

Currently there are only one 2003 DC and one NT BDC in the domain, I am
thinking of install second 2003 DC and transfer all the FSMO roles into
the second 2003 DC (which has to include NT emulator, for down level
compatibility). And then I could rebuild the first box.
Any help or alternative is greatly appeciated.

That would certainly work. I suspect you are correct about the NT4 Array
Config utility being incompatible with 2003. You should be able to pop in
the latest smart start CD and get everything up to date...
