Reboots over and over again

OK, no one has been able to fix this one. When I start my
computer, I get the black Windows XP screen, as if it
were starting up. Then I get the "starting windows"
screen for a blink of a second and then it reboots again.
This continues endlessly. I built this computer from
scratch. There are no unusual components installed. I
simply have a CDRW drive and a Radeon 9200 graphics card
installed. No drivers were listed as not installed or in
a conflict in Device Manager. (No ?s or !s) I have re
installed three different XP disks and this occurs at
random times. "Safe Mode", "Last Good Config" doesn't
work either. PLEASE HELP. Thanks

Did you install and format your harddrive correctly?
Have you tried reinstalling Windows XP from scratch,
maybe some initial files are missing ?
Weird problem, but Windows is a weird system.

Bad RAM, motherboard, power supply, overheating? Be sure to have latest
motherboard BIOS. Run Memtest86 to test RAM. Be sure to install latest
motherboard chipset and AGP drivers. Keep replacing parts until fixed.

Sounds more like something isn't plugged in all the way, or the cpu is
overheating, check all connections and the heatsink is on straight.

The Radeon 9000 series have problems.
I've had the same problem....
In the MS Knowledge Base search for ATI
or Radeon there is a reported problem.
It should be loading a VGA driver but who knows
maybe it grabbed the drivers off the XP disk.
Good luck

Do you have a modem installed? If so you might try taking it out of the
machine to see if the problem goes away.

I have a similar problem with a machine I've built. It works perfectly
until I try to install a modem. As soon as XP detects the modem it starts
trying to install it and then the system reboots. When it comes backup, I
get to the inital logon screen and then 20 seconds later it reboots again.
