You're welcome Jineichen.
Is your computer still restarting even though we've disabled that option?
If so, there may be a hardware failure involving your power supply.
Please keep me posted.
| Thank you for your help but the problem is still occuring is there anything else that I can do?

| Your system is most likely restarting as a result of a STOP error.
|
| To stop this behavior go to Control Panel / System / Advanced /
| Click the Startup and Recovery Settings button / Uncheck the box
| labelled "Automatically restart" under the System Failure section.
|
| To analyse the error, try the steps in:
http://aumha.org/win5/kbestop.htm
|
| If the error indicates a file name that begins with ati, or nv (nVidia)
| the most likely solution would be to install the latest drivers using
| the instructions at:
http://mvps.org/nibblesnbits/Video.html#drivers
|
| |
| | I am running:
| |
| | Win XP Home
| | AMD 2400+ XP Processor
| | 512Mb DDR RAM
| | nVIDIA GeFORCE4 Ti4200 Grachics card with 64 MB RAM
| | All on an EMACHINES C2480
