MY SYSTEM CONTINUOSLY REBOOTS. IT GETS AS FAR AS THE VERY FIRST SCREEN YOU SEE THAT DISPLAYS THE WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONAL LOGO WITH THE LITTLE PROGRESS BAR UNDERNEATH. THEN JUMPS TO THE SCREEN THAT SAYS WINDOWS XP DID NOT START SUCESSFULLY AND ASKS YOU TO SELECT A STARTUP OPTION OF SAFE MODE, LAST KNOWN CONFIGURATION, OR START NORMALLY BUT.....IT IS FROZEN ON THE START NORMALLY OPTION. SO I WAIT UNTIL THE SECONDS COUNTDOWN ENDS AND THEN INSTEAD OF STARTING IT REBOOTS. EVEN IF I PUSH THE UP OR DOWN ARROWS ON KEYBOARD I CANNOT SELECT SAFE MODE OR ANYTHING FOR THAT MATTER! PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP WITH ANY SUGESSTIONS ON WHAT TO DO IN A CASE LIKE THIS. WHEN I PUSH THE POWER BUTTON IT EITHER SHOWS THE GATEWAY LOGO FOR A FEW SECONDS THEN GOES TO THE SORRY WINDOWS DID NOT START SUCCESSFULLY SCREEN OR......GOES DIRECTLY TO THE SORRY WINDOWS DID NOT START SUCCESSFULLY SCREEN. NOW WHEN IT SHOWS THE GATEWAY LOGO AND I PUSH THE TAB BUTTON ON KEYBOARD IT DOES GO TO THE SYSTEM CONFIGURATION SCREEN THEN I HIT ESC TO CONTINUE AND IT GOES TO THE SCREEN THAT ASKS SAFE MODE, LAST CONFIGURATION ETC. NOTHING MORE! HELP!!!!!!
