Hi my computer freezes everytime i reboot it. I usually end up
rebooting my computer at least 2-3 times before it works. My only
conclusion to this is that my computer is overheating. I can definitely
say that it feels hot, but i'm not sure what would be hot
Any help would be Very Much Appreciated.

Thank You, GoodyTech

I have seen everything from defective boards, hard drives, and various types
of hardware faults, cause the computer to not always boot up. I have also
seen software failures cause that as well.

You should troubleshoot your computer before coming to any conclusions. See
if you can borrow another machine or spare parts to do your testing. If
not, you will have to take it to a service dealer to have this resolved.

if you are saying that you need to restart your machine 2-3 times before it
stays running...
then it is probably not an overheating problem...
however you might as well check your powersupply and cpu fan anyway.

it would be helpful to state where the freeze-up occurs...
ie: still in the bios
or during the OS loading process

I recently had similar problem and I did following :

1. Uninstalled all programs I recently installed
2. Reinstalled Windows completely
3. Checked memory
4. Checked HD
5. Flash BIOS to newest version

and problems continued occasionally

Then I went to the BIOS and loaded default settings
and it works until now without any problems

PS
I guess you should check your BIOS settings first ^_^

It occurs after my OS loads and when it gets to my desktop with my McAfee
privacy service program asking for the administrator password. It always
freezes up on the McAfee privacy service screen.

What settings in the bios could be causing this, because i am pretty sure
that the only thing i have changed in the bios, is the default setting for
(Hyper Threading) from off to on

it may very well be McAfee...
disable it if you can or uninstall it
and try again

Thank You, I will surely try that. But if that does not work do you have
anymore suggestions?

I don't know, I just loaded default settings
(I didn't even know that there are default settings :))

Try to disable ECC check, or maybe ... I don't know really
