Hi all

Pc will re-boot (sometimes)a couple of times from cold whilst POSTing and
soemtimes whiles in Windows it will just crash out. If a CD is in the tray
it will be ok. Tried removing CD/DVD-Rom drive off their own secondary
channel and just putting a CD-RW on with the HD primary channel.

Tried different CD/DVDdrives too ...

HD is brand new (clone of original)

am removing PCI cards now.. Modem, wireless card etc.

any ideas or tools for testing? Have run a memory tester for a couple of
hours.. all ok there.

Thanks in advance.

regards

Which, if any, virtual CD/DVD drives are installed? A virtual drive is
a software that will allow mounting an ISO image directly, without
burning a CD or DVD of that image. Do you have any?
