I have now Windows 98SE. I got A new system and if my computer is shut for a
long period when I start up I have to reboot twice, the first time and one
point stops booting up and I have to restart. I called the company where I
bought the computer and they say that this motherboard was build for Windows
XP, and I should upgrade . Is this possible?

Hi Solomon,

Forget WinXP for now, what you need to do is fix your hardware problem. You
have a faulty component that fails when cold, but runs ok when warm. This is
usually indicitive of something like a hairline fracture on the board.
