I recently had problems with my computer freezing after trying to load
software from a disc. I took it to a service center where they removed my OP
then reloaded it from a disk I have. They completely removed all my files &
started me fresh. Everything was fine until today (just got it fixed
yesterday). The only programs I have loaded are yahoo messenger & Spy
Sweeper. First, it froze randomly. I rebooted, but it was freezing on the
Windows XP page with the status bar (right before you get to the sign-on
page). I started it with 'last known config' & it came up ok. I ran the Spy
Sweeper, then tried to load Mcafee Internet Security Suite from disc & it
froze again. This time it started freezing on last known config also on that
same page & would only let me start in safe mode. What could this be??

I would ask myself if perhaps the repair shop did not fix the original
problem??
Especially since it 's only been one day since repair?
I don't think installing your software should crash the computer.
I would take it back to shop and tell them they didn't fix it properly.
