Using Windows XP-Pro.
I removed my computer from a DOMAIN and changed from
domain name to workgroup name (to use my home networking).
After making the changes XP needs reboot.
Answer YES the computer shutted down and now reboots
forever !!!! it dowsn't even get to the windows logo
screen.
Tried F8 for safe mode and same thing happens.

Any clues on how to fix this. The computer had been
working without any glitches or problems until I tried to
remove it from the domain and make it part of a workgroup.

Thanks

.

If the computer cannot be booted in either normal or safe mode then
the next alternative is a Repair Install as per the instructions at
http://michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm

This will preserve your installed applications, configuration
settings, and user data files. However all Windows Updates will have
to be reinstalled.

Good luck
