Reboot loop after w2k sp4 update

I have tried to install SP4 for windows 200 pro but after
the installation completes and the system reboots, it goes
into a loop of rebooting without getting to the log in
screen. I had to boot in safe mode and uninstall the
package and return to previous level to operate correctly
again. Does anyone know why this is happening?

I am also having this same problem. The windows 2000 pro
screen appears and when the blue line is done loading the
system reboots with no error message and so on. Safe mode
will not help, Last Known Good does nothing either. Please
respond if anyone knows how to fix this. thank you.
