I have just tried to use a new Mittoni flash memory
stick, and it seemd to work properly, until I wanted to
remove it. After clicking on the icon to allow safe
removal, the computer re-booted every time I tried it.
I am using Windows XP Home SP1.
Device manager says that all is working properly.
By the way, there is an entry for each reboot in the
minidump log, but Windows claims not to be able to
read .DMP files. In which case, why are they there??

First disable Automatic reboot to identify the exact error message.

To disable Automatic reboot
----------------------------
1. Right-click My Computer and click Properties.
2. Click the Advanced tab.
3. Under "Startup & Recovery" options, click Settings.
4. Deselect the "Automatically Restart" option under System
Failure.
5. Click OK and then click OK again.

To resolve Minidump error

Thanks Selvaraj,
I learned a lot from those articles. I noticed that for
a C2 type error, I should have parameter 4 = zero, but in
fact it is carrying an address! I have sent my dump files
off to the hardware manufacturer.

Chris
