REASONABLE price for A/V software for Win2k3 server?

Hi, all! I develop personally on a @in2k3 server, and am looking for
an A/V program that isn't insanely priced and will install on Win2k3
server.

For example, TrendMicro's "personal" A/V scanner won't install on
Win2k3, and I'm not about to pay the INSANE price of $700 for A/V on
this one box. Anything reasonable out there? I know McAfee and
Symantec are also insanely (greedily?) priced, so I'm looking for an
alternative!

Thanks,
Jack

I was able to run NOD32 desktop on Win 2K Adv Server, Win 2K and XP Pro
O/S's. According to the link, the same version should run on Win 2K3 as
well.

Have a look at F-Prot for Windows, http://www.f-prot.com , around
$US50 for a corporate licence. I am using it now, and it is a d@mned
good product.....

Agreed. Very light on resources; two services running. Fast and detection
seems as good as anything else out there.

Thanks for the response, everyone! After some scrounging I came
across F-Prot, and it does indeed look like a good solution, so I
think I'll give it a whirl for my Win2k3 server...

Any weirdness or catches in using the software that you might know
about? :)

Thanks again!
Jack
