What is the folder's name and location? If it always reappears when you
open AIM, perhaps it is a folder the program needs and uses?

Sorry it took a bit to get back to you Wes. The newsgroup servers have not
been working correctly the last few days. Unfortunately, I don't know what
program keeps adding it to your desktop. All that I can tell you is that
the "movies" folder on the desktop is not a default Windows folder.

Go through your start menu and look to see what kind of movie editing and
movie viewing software you have installed. Open each program and check its
menus for the option to place a movies folder on the desktop. For example,
Creative's Audio Headquarters will place a "Music" folder on the desktop
when it's first installed. I have to go into that programs menus and
uncheck the "show icon on desktop" box.
