Realplayer files

I downloaded Realplayer and now every time I put a CD in to copy it converts
the files to Realplayer. I have my default set as WMP. I removed Realplayer
via add/remove but I cannot get rid of the Realplayer program file even in
safe mode. Is there a way to keep music files from being converted to
Realplayer. Thanks!

Open My Computer, right click on the CD drive, select properties, autoplay
tab, in the drop down menu box select Music CD, and set a different default
action or tell it to prompt you for an action each time. Hmm... That
*should* do it for you. I haven't installed RP in a very long long time but
that's the rational method.

Well... Hmm... What happens if you re-install RealPlayer and (yeah, I know
it isn't a lot of fun) then go ahead and find the option to automatically
rip and convert and turn it off and then uninstall it again? This, and a few
others, is a good reason I avoid such critters on my systems.
